Turn 5 - Germany
Reports from the Front
Germany, Summer 1915
North Sea. Our last 2 flotillas of Submarines sneaked into the North Sea to attack the massive transport fleet preparing to carry the British Army to mainland Europe. They were able to surprise the French Battleship squadron guarding the fleet, sinking all of them, albeit at the cost of half of the submarines. Our remaining submarines hunted down the defenseless transports, killing all 6 flotillas and sending 2 British divisions down with them. We are safe from the British for another season.
Belgium. Unsure how the sea battle would go, all but 1 division pulled out of Belgium.
Alsace. A mighty army of 11 divisions, supported by 2 wings of fighters gathered in Alsace, preparing for a Fall offensive.
Kiel. 6 divisions, half of them artillery, fortified the coastline. A new Battleship squadron left the docks of Kiel and Bremen.
Piedmont. 2 divisions invaded Piedmont, overrunning the border guards and capturing the territory.
Poland. An army of 6 divisions, half of them artillery, assaulted the Russian lines. Hampered by poor weather, we were only able to destroy 1 Russian division, and at the cost of 1 of our own.
Belarus. 11 divisions, supported by 2 wings of fighters assaulted the last Russian division in the territory. We destroyed it, suffering only minor losses.
Berlin. 6 divisions of Infantry and 4 divisions of Infantry mustered outside Berlin. 43 million Swiss Francs fill our treasury.
Our losses to date:
...Army Forces: 61 Infantry Divisions, 10 Artillery Divisions
