Turn 2 - British Empire

Reports from the Front
British Empire, Fall 1914

Africa. We reinforced our trenches in the Belgian Congo with another Infantry Division, but otherwise held, locking many of the German units in place.

Mesopotamia. With a combined assault from land, sea, and air, 8 of our divisions, 5 of them Artillery, supported by a wing of Fighters and a Battleship Squadron, assaulted the Ottoman forces in Mesopotamia. Fighting was heavy, with our forces losing 2 Infantry Divisions and 2 Artillery Divisions while the Ottomans lost 5 Divisions of Infantry. Both sides dug in for the Winter.

Mediterranean. Our 2 Cruiser Flotillas moved off the coast of Italy to support our allies.

India. 6 Divisions of Infantry, 2 Divisions of Artillery and 1 Fighter Wing mustered in India.

London. 31 millions Swiss Francs fill our treasury.

Our losses to date:
...British Ground Forces: 10 Infantry Divisions, 5 Artillery Divisions
...British Naval Forces: 2 Battleship Squadrons, 3 Cruiser Flotillas, 2 Transport Flotillas
...Allied Forces: 1 division of Infantry
