Turn 1 - Italy

Reports from the Front
Italy, Summer 1914

Venice. Reinforced by another Infantry division, our forces in Venice charged from their trench lines. While pushed back, the Austro-Hungarian lines held. 3 of our Infantry divisions were destroyed, taking 2 divisions of Infantry of 1 of Artillery with them.

Switzerland. Preempting a German invasion of Piedmont, an army of 6 divisions of Infantry and 2 of Artillery invaded the Alpine nation. The German defenses, however, were formidable, destroying our army at a cost of 4 Infantry divisions.

Tuscany. Our fleet transported our forces from Libya, consisting of 1 divisions of Infantry and 1 of Artillery, to Tuscany.

Rome. 4 divisions of Infantry mobilized outside the capital. Our treasury holds 14 million Swiss Francs.
